DeBorah B. Pryor knew entertainment was her calling after working as personal assistant for the legendary SLY STONE. She began her journalism career at a small newspaper in Harlem and began writing features based on interviews with acts at THE APOLLO THEATER before accepting a position in Public Relations at the famed METROPOLITAN OPERA Company. She later moved to California where she ventured into Theatre; worked as a professional actress for 16 years, gaining status as a SAG/AFTRA and ACTOR'S EQUITY member before acquiring her Bachelors of Arts degree in the discipline at SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY.
A published author and established entertainment journalist, she has conducted personal interviews with the likes of everyone from Denzel Washington to John Lennon, Halle Berry to Tupac Shakur. DeBorah was West Coast Editor for two popular magazines: the visually beautiful music trade publication BLACK RADIO EXCLUSIVE (BRE) and the ELECTRONIC URBAN REPORT (EURweb) published by legendary broadcaster, LEE BAILEY.
DeBorah worked at one of L.A.'s top radio stations, 92.3 THE BEAT with JOHN LONDON AND THE HOUSE PARTY and prior to this had her own cable radio show. Her voice has been heard in numerous commercials, corporate trainings, videos games, film projects, and audiobooks.
A passionate educator, DeBorah created the classes "Public Speaking for the Private Person" and "How to Talk to Anybody II" and taught them to professionals at the prestigious UCLA Extension in Los Angeles. She has also provided communications training for staff at a variety of private companies and nonprofit organizations.
